Debris Removal Contract – Invitation to Bid

The Town of Newport is currently accepting bids for the removal of Vegetative and C&D (construction and demolition) debris for the anticipated tropical, winter and Nor’easter storm seasons through June 30, 2020.  Bidders’ instructions and Proposal Forms may be obtained from the Town of Newport, 200 Howard Blvd, Newport, NC 28570, or by contacting the Town Clerk at (252) 223-4749.  Documents may also be downloaded here.  

Sealed bids will be addressed to: Town Clerk and marked “DEBRIS REMOVAL CONTRACT” at Town of Newport, PO Box 1869, 200 Howard Blvd, Newport, NC 28570.  The Deadline for submittal of bids will be 1:00PM on Wednesday, June 12, 2019, at which time the public bid opening and reading will take place in a conference room of the Town Hall at the same address.  Interested parties are recommended to attend the pre-bid conference scheduled for 1:00pm on Wednesday, May 29, 2019 also in a conference room of the Town Hall.  A recommendation will be submitted no later than the next scheduled meeting of the Town Council, following which the selected bidder will be notified.
