OUR MISSION...
The Newport Fire Department is committed to the preservation and protection of life, property, and environment from the adverse effects of fire, medical, and hazardous conditions through sustained training, progressive education, and constant diligence to provide the highest level of customer service.
From our humble beginnings to the professional department that exists today, we remain ready to serve the community in any situation.

The Department will focus its efforts on responding rapidly to emergencies, providing appropriate intervention and community education.

Develop an organization to effectively administer and manage the resources of the Department.

Develop a system for minimizing the impact of disasters and other emergencies on life and property.

Provide an effective Emergency Medical Services System.

Provide an effective Fire Suppression, Fire Prevention and Public Safety System.
