Mission Statement
Here at the Newport Public Works Department we serve many functions within the Town of Newport. We provide maintenance of all of the municipal buildings and grounds within the town. The maintenance of the town’s streets is also our responsibility. The Public Works Department also provides yard debris pick up. We are involved with storm water management and the maintenance of the town's many ditches. Our mosquito program strives to provide a safer environment for our citizens through larvaciding, adulticiding, and education.
