Maintenance
The Newport Public Works Department maintains all of the municipal grounds in the town. We maintain approximately 50 acres of property throughout the spring, summer, and fall. Throughout the year we are responsible for the maintenance of all of the municipal buildings in town. The PWD is also responsible for the maintenance of the streets and street signs in Newport's incorporated limits.
